With the recent elsword shutdown, many players are looking for a way to re-play and enjoy the game. This blog post will teach you how to download and install elsword offline english! First, go to https://www.elsword-offline.com/download . Here you will find a list of files that can be downloaded as well as installation instructions (Note: this site does not host any copyrighted material) ) After downloading the file, extract it with winrar or 7zip (or other software). Copy all the extracted files into an empty folder on your computer. From here, you should go into the folder (e.g. C:\\elsword offline) and open the folder called "install". From here you will find two files that need to be copied into the installation folder (e.g. C:\\Program Files (x86)\\elsword offline). 1. Installer_setup_v6.5.844654601 2. Click next when you are prompted to create a shortcut on your desktop 3. Check off "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" 4. Click "select settings" and check off "Win XP (Service Pack 3)" 5. Click apply and ok. After this, you can run elsword offline english by double clicking on the shortcut on your desktop. If it doesn't work, try running it as admin. Once you are in the game, log in to your Nexon account (or create one) and start playing! Some things to note: Currently, this works for Windows 8 and 10 users. If you're using a different OS then it still may work, but there will likely be some issues that needs to be fixed (e.g. The game runs too slow or too fast). Another thing to note is, you will need to update it every time there is a new update (e.g. 1.88) or it won't work.
